ACBW14_flag_downloadAmerican Craft Beer Week is in full-swing, with thousands of events across the United States celebrating one of our most favorite libations — craft beer!

The Brewers Association — the national non-profit association which supports the majority of today’s U.S. breweries —  designates one week each May as American Craft Beer Week (ACBW) which takes place this year May 12-18, 2014. ACBW highlights the small and independent craft brewers across our nation with tap takeovers, beer tastings, special releases, and more. Tens of thousands of  beer novices, enthusiasts, and geeks support this annual event.

Support and celebrate your local craft brewers, especially during local beer weeks throughout the year. Beer weeks spotlight the diverse culture and community of craft beer, while connecting craft beer fans to the folks behind great brew.

To celebrate the many faces of craft beer, the BA asked brewers from all 50 states to take “selfies” to best represent their brewery and state for a video montage. See if you can spot one of your local breweries in the video below:

Craft beer fans are encouraged to take their own “selfies” with craft beer from small and independent brewers during ACBW and and post on social media with #ACBW hashtag.

What are some of the craft beer events in your area that you are most looking forward to during ACBW? Leave a comment with your week’s highlight.
